                    Recipes with Mona's Granola

                    Set your muffins out
                    to easily grab one on the go

                    These muffins are simple to create. Set them on the counter in a display dish, to just grab on the go. Watch your family eat them up. Great for a snack, breakfast or even to enjoy while traveling. One muffin has over 30 grams of bran for the necessary daily requirements, according to the Institute of Medicine. Not only will you enjoy them, your skin will have a fresh healthy glow!

                    _Mona's Granola & Banana
                    Bran Muffins

                    Mix:
                    1 cup flour
                    1 tsp. baking soda
                    1 ½ bran
                    ½ cup raisins
                    1 cup Mona's Granola

                    Separately mix:
                    1 tsp. vanilla
                    1 egg, beaten
                    ½ cup warm honey 
                    (warming honey 30 sec. in the microwave thins it to blend more thoroughly)
                    ¾ cup milk
                    2 tbsp. soft or melted butter
                    1 banana, mashed until creamy

                    Mix dry ingredients, add liquid ingredients just enough to blend.


                    Bake in muffin tins  with liners (for easy clean up)
                    at 375 degrees for 25 min., or depending on your oven, until they rise and are baked in the middle when you test with a fork or knife.


                    The muffins should be soft & moist, don't over bake as they will continue to dry out as they cool off.
